Umut Aral is born in 1976, in Istanbul, Turkey. After studying Management at Bosphorus University, he made MFA on Cinema & TV in Marmara University. During his university years he joined Bosphorus University Actors and acted in leading roles, worked as director and playwright in more than 6 plays and also put 2 plays and a musical on stage in Galatasaray High School. After finishing university he started to work in film industry as AD, production manager and assistant. Since 2002 he’s working as a commercial film director in Atlantik Film. “CRASH” is his second short film. The first short film “thirtyfour” has been nominated for many national awards and been selected for international film festivals in 2000.

Born in 1969. Gratuated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts Cinema-TV Department. Started his career in 1994 and worked in 17 feature films as focuspuller, in 3 feature films as second cameraman and in more than 400 commercial films as D.O.P and focus puller. Still he's working as a D.O.P in commercial films and is in pre-production stage for a feature film.

Eray Altınbüken was born in 1975, in Istanbul. He is a graduate of Saint- Benoît French High-School, Marmara Uni. Communications Faculty Radio-TV-Cinema Art Dept. and he received his Masters degree from Istanbul Technical Uni. MIAM (Advanced Studies in Music) Composition Dept. He composes music, he plays classical and electric guitar. Starting his musical education with private lessons of accordeon, piano and classical guitar, Altınbüken continued his studies at Istanbul Uni. State Conservatory Classical Guitar Dept. During school years, he worked as studio musician, played with various ensembles, wrote and arranged in various styles of popular music. He studied cinema at the university and worked for two years at Turkish Radio and Television as AD. He then quit this position and continued his musical education at MIAM where he accomplished his Masters in Composition.

Altınbüken continues his Doctoral studies in composition and works as research assistant at MIAM. Some of his compositions have been performed by various chamber ensembles in Istanbul. He also has music written for films, documentary TV series and cartoons.
